About the Conference
Showcasing innovative curriculum, inspiring people and excellent networking opportunities, the Annual Provincial Conference on Aboriginal Education draws several hundred educators every year. Everyone is welcome! This is an opportunity for everyone involved in Aboriginal education to share and learn about improvements.
The conference theme for 2012 was inspired by the interim recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, providing an opportunity to look at how we can increase authentic First Peoples curriculum in BC schools and to discuss the important role that public institutions can have in transforming relations with First Nations.
