About the Event
At this workshop, explore the new draft K-12 First Nations Language and Curriculum Framework and lend your feedback to help us improve this important new resource. The draft framework is part of the ongoing work of the First Nations Education Steering Committee and the First Nations Schools Association to support high quality First Nations Language and Culture Instruction. We invite you to review the draft resource and to share your feedback.

Suggested attendees Language and Culture teachers for First Nations schools and public schools. Preference will be given to Language and Culture teachers.****Please forward to appropriate individuals****

Schedule: Breakfast 8:30 am, Workshop 9 am – 4 pm (Lunch provided)
Travel and Hotel Reimbursement: Travel reimbursement and up to 2 nights hotel accommodation reimbursement (if required) is available for one Language and Culture teacher per First Nations school to attend their nearest workshop. A second Language and Culture teacher can apply for hotel/travel reimbursement is not guaranteed. Claims must be post-marked with 30 days.
