In March 2013, Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC) announced that, starting this fiscal year (2013-2014), the ISSP funding will now be allocated through its headquarters, rather than through AANDC Regional Offices, and that the BC ISSP Committee is dissolved. This is a great concern to FNESC and to the indigenous institutes in BC that rely on ISSP funding.
